Surprise! Bob Sapp loses... again.

I don't even want to call Bob Sapp a "fighter". Even "entertainer" doesn't cover it, because he is not entertaining, not in the least. He's a black mark on the sport, a sad cancer that we need to remove. Quickly. Here is his latest "performance", in a kickboxing match. He loses, of course. He's now 1-11 in Kickboxing, on top of 1-9 or so in MMA.
Please stop booking him!!!
If you choose to watch this "fight", you've been warned... It's horrible.
Alabama has a new BJJ black belt!
There are only a handful of legit BJJ black belts in the entire state of Alabama... The number has just been increased by one.
Auburn MMA's Randall Phillips earned his black belt under Shawn Hammonds this past weekend, following a seminar at the gym.
Shawn Hammonds is a Lloyd Irvin black belt.
It's been a long time coming, but Alabama is slowly climbing in the BJJ ranks.
Congrats to Randall Phillips on his well-deserved promotion.
Also promoted were Kelly Tubbs to Blue Belt; and Timberly Thomas and Seth Thomas to Green Belt.

Rules & Welcome Meeting: Wednesday, June 6, 2012 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. Rules and regulations for the tournament will be addressed.
Weigh-ins: Thursday June 7, 2012. 7:00 A.M. at Hilton Hotel
All Boxers will be weighed in and must be ready to step on the scale when your weight class is called or face disqualification.
Any boxer within 2 pounds of making weight has until 9:00(or until the scales close) to make weight.
Any boxer more than 2 pounds over the weight declared on the Entry Form will be given the option to move up to the next weight division or be disqualified from participating in the tournament.
Pregnancy tests will be conducted at the time of the weigh-in.
