Alabama has a new BJJ black belt!

There are only a handful of legit BJJ black belts in the entire state of Alabama... The number has just been increased by one.
Auburn MMA's Randall Phillips earned his black belt under Shawn Hammonds this past weekend, following a seminar at the gym.

Shawn Hammonds is a Lloyd Irvin black belt.
It's been a long time coming, but Alabama is slowly climbing in the BJJ ranks.
Congrats to Randall Phillips on his well-deserved promotion.
Also promoted were Kelly Tubbs to Blue Belt; and Timberly Thomas and Seth Thomas to Green Belt.
